Armed with cameras and microphones, Nils Berg and filmmaker Donovan von Martens were sent to Basilicata, the mountainous landscape under the heel of Italy’s boot. Their goal, commissioned by five national parks in the region, was to lay the foundation of a cinematic and musical piece of art. Ten days later they returned to Sweden with bags filled with pride, tradition and all the colors of the rainbow. The result was the audiovisual performance Basilicata Dreaming.
